WMCCAI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR METRO-AREA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The award winner will be announced approximately 45 days after the application deadline, April 30, 2013.
Interested students are asked to submit a 500- to 750-word essay on, "Benefits of Living in a Community Association"; a brief statement of why he/she should be selected for the WMCCAI scholarship; a brief statement of his/her career goals; a brief statement of how this scholarship will benefit him/her and further his/her academic and career goals and the name of institution at which he/she will be enrolled. WMCCAI serves the educational, business and networking needs of the community association industry in more than 80 cities and counties in Maryland and Virginia and the entire District of Columbia. Members include professional managers and community association volunteer leaders from condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations as well as those who provide products and services to associations.
Washington Metropolitan Chapter Community Associations Institute has more than 2,900 members including more than 300 businesses, more than 900 professional managers from 83 management companies and more than 1,600 community association volunteer leaders. WMCCAI is the largest of Community Associations Institute's 61 chapters.
