Office Closure - Labor Day Holiday

Office Closure – Labor Day Holiday
The management office will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2019, in honor of the Labor Day Holiday. Please be aware that while the office is closed the community center will be locked during non-business hours.
Please be advised that there will be no change in the trash and recycling collection schedule for the holiday.
Please have a safe and enjoyable weekend!
Parking Lot Striping - Rescheduled

Parking Space Striping - RESCHEDULED
Parking lot re-striping has been rescheduled for the N. Thomas St. parking lot and the east Arlington Blvd. parking lot for a later date. We will send updated communications on this with a new date in the coming weeks. We appreciate your continued patience during this process.

2016 Annual Meeting Recap

Thank you everyone for stepping up and submitting your proxies or attending the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, January 18th 2017. We successfully received quorum at 27.80% or 103 units. It could not have been done without your active participation. 
The membership voted to elected Aimee Hiskett and myself to the two open Board of Director positions. 
After a report of the Board of Directors and Committees (posted below), a lively discussion of the membership ensued. It was great to hear various perspectives as well as what is and isn't working at Arlington Oaks. Great questions and ideas were put forward for discussion.

As we near the end of 2016, I'd like to take a few minutes to update you on the happenings
around the Association. If you thought last year was busy, 2016 proved to be even busier. We
tackled many important and needed projects this year. We also worked on securing many new
contracts for the Association.

Arlington Oaks needs your help! 


Numerous committees that represent our community are in need of volunteers. 


Finance: Members will advise the Board on financial issue related to the Association. This involves reviewing financial documents monthly such as budgets, expenses, investments, etc. Members will also be involved in the yearly process to develop the budget for the Association. If you want to understand how every dollar of the Association is spent and invested, and how your assessments are determined, this is a great chance to get involved.


Covenants: Members will review and advise the Board on requests from unit owners to repair, replace, or upgrade architectural items within their units. This committee reviews applications to ensure they meet the Associations bylaws and policies and will maintain the overall appearance of the Community. 


Additionally, the Board is seeking members to join a new PARKING WORKGROUP

Based on resident feedback regarding parking difficulties across the Community, the Board is seeking residents to join this group to research the current parking situation and present recommendations for consideration by the Board to improve parking throughout the Association. This would be a short term commitment with a goal of presenting those recommendations to the Board in the Fall of this year. This is your chance to craft the policy of parking at Arlington Oaks.
